This week
Paint and I un-broke up on Wednesday. As much as I wanted to be angry, I care about him too much to write him off. So, another chance. We both agreed we need to talk more, and so far it's been working well.
Last weekend was gorrrrrgeous. Saturday, Paint and I went to Storm King Art Center. It's beautiful, though I caught myself enjoying nature more than the sculptures. Word of advice: wear sneakers. I wore cute but peekaboo shoes and ended up carrying them most of the time. Got a slightly awkward tan, but had a great time. If I'm ever wildly rich, I'd like to get married there, on a hill, between these amazingly displaced columns. Take note!
Sunday was also beautiful, but Paint and I stayed at his place for most of the day. Around 2:00, we got out and went to the beach. We sat on a jetty for an hour, climbing all over, stacking shells, talking to gulls. He took a ton of photos of me, which I thought was very cute. Here's one of our sea art (mine's on the far right):
Last night, we went to the Mets/Rockies game. It was frickin great. It went scoreless into extra innings, I managed to miss the one home run when I went to the restroom, we had peanuts and I had cotton candy, and I even managed to kick over his beer. After twelve innings, we were chilly and sleepy but happy.
